Meet Sue
Sue has been in the wine and spirits industry for over 20 years, most recently as the Vice President of national accounts for the largest wine and spirits distributor in the country, where she had become increasingly passionate about developing and coaching leaders around her.
As a committed advocate for advancing women in leadership, Sue co-founded the Cheers to Women PNW business resource group, was a member of the Multicultural Steering Committee, and was a speaker for EmpowHer development programs through Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. She also completed the WSWA Women in Executive Leadership program through Columbia University and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Women in Wine as Vice President.
Sue is an International Coaching Federation-trained coach, dedicated to developing and empowering the next generation of leaders.

Maria’s entrepreneurial spirit is embedded within the region through her pivotal leadership roles in the establishment and growth of one of Oregon’s founding wineries, the state’s first craft brewery and one of the original wine-centered restaurants and wine bars in the Willamette Valley. She has served her industry in a myriad of leadership roles, including President of the Oregon Winegrowers Association, a founder of the Oregon Chapter of Women for WineSense, President of Oregon Pinot Camp and ¡Salud!. She has served multiple terms on the Oregon Wine Board and was a two-term commissioner for Travel Oregon. She was a board member of Travel Portland, the International Pinot Noir Celebration, Women in Wine, Willamette Valley Wineries Association and other state boards. Maria is currently the Director of the Center for Wine Education at Linfield University. Her career is a testament to visionary leadership, strategic growth, and an unwavering commitment to the industry’s success.
